Oh yes, I think nearly all spouses attempt this. It may be because they think you’re not serious about filing for divorce, then when they get the papers reality hits them that they messed up and will lose you.
My ex arrived with a HUGE bouquet of red roses, came to visit myself and my daughter, played with her (like he never had before), etc. I attempted to give him another chance, for the sake of our daughter, however days after I was shown yet again why I filed in the first place.

So far this month he has given me…. a vacuum cleaner, two televisions, transported the kids when he never would have, and bought me a Christmas gift.
He may be up to something but I am not interested. Like my Granny used to say, “You never miss your water til your well runs dry”. For most men I have dated or liked and the feeling was not returned, I am the best damned woman they will never have…all they have to do for the truth in that statement is ask my ex. It’s too late.

After I caught him with his girlfriend, while we were married..I had lunch with him…I gave him 30 days to make a decision…30 days..after the divorce, he kept calling..why, I don’t know..by then..it was too late…

Get your ex back
My ex came back 6 months after the paper work was signed and with the court system we were still not technically divorced yet. He came back telling me all the things that I wated to hear for myself and our daughter. So we decided to work it out and go to marriage counseling and repair the marriage. For me it was short lived (two weeks to be exact) things did not change and he was unwilling to change and ran off with my daughters daycare teacher. Yes very Jerry Springerish!!! It ultimatly comes down to how hard you are willing to work at it to make the relationship work with him. You are divorced for a reason and I felt like you and I forgot what that reason was we were not together. Not to say at all that it would not work out for you if you did get back together; but be perpaired to see that noting has changed and you are repeating the horriable cycle again with him. Best advice, go to a marriage counslor if you really want to work it out. As well counseling will give you a good indication in a short period of time to know if you want to enter into the relationship again.

He did try! But I told him, well if I had wanted to be with you the frist time, I would not divorced you! He ask you why you divorced him, tell him and say….. You really think I want that liife again. NOPE!!!!!
